How to define your belt size?
How to measure a belt size?
Warning, the belt size does not correspond to its total length, but to the distance between the inner edge of the buckle and the 3rd hole.
Based on our experience and due to the long lifespan of our products, we recommend that our customers purchase their belt adjusted to their size at the 4th hole. If your weight increases, you can use it on the 3rd hole, and if your weight decreases, you can tighten it. In both cases, you will enjoy your belt for a longer time.
If you would like an adjustment at the 4th hole, feel free to let us know when placing your order.
How to determine your belt size?
Here are two methods to help you determine your belt size. These two methods are easy and simple to follow, and they provide a reliable and accurate result.
Measuring the size of a belt.
This is the method we most often use in our store.
Using one of your belts, measure from the inner edge of the buckle to the hole you use (it is usually marked by wear). And that’s it...
Measuring the waistband of your trousers.
This second method is just as accurate as the previous one, but it is more complex because it takes into account the type of trousers you will be wearing.
This method consists of measuring the waistband of the trousers on which you will wear the belt. For example, if you have high-waisted trousers, the belt size will be equal to your waist measurement, meaning the place where the belt loops are. And the lower your trousers sit, the larger the belt size will be.
Step 1: Put the trousers on
Step 2: Take a measuring tape and thread it through the belt loops.
Step 3: When the measuring tape has gone all the way around the trousers, hold it at the front and take the measurement. This measurement corresponds to the belt size.
With this method, if your measurement falls between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the larger size. For example, if your measurement is 87 centimeters, it is recommended to choose size 90.
Tip: if you don’t have a measuring tape, use a non‑stretch string to measure and then place the string on a ruler to find your measurement.
There you go, you now know how to measure your belt size. Feel free to contact us if you would like advice.
