Our care recommendations:

Lizard leather is a precious material whose fine, delicate scales require careful maintenance. To preserve its natural shine and refined texture, we recommend using a light lotion specifically formulated for exotic leathers.

Apply a very small amount of lotion with a soft cloth, following the direction of the scales. Allow it to penetrate for a few minutes, then gently buff with a clean cloth. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent lifting or damaging the scales.

We recommend using a care product designed for exotic leathers, such as Saphir Exotic Leather Lotion or Collonil Exotic Lotion, which nourish the leather without weighing it down or clogging its natural texture.

Never use the following on a lizard leather belt:

  • Classic shoe polish (too greasy, clogs the scales)
  • Leather greases or oils (neatsfoot oil, mink oil, etc.)
  • Creams intended for smooth calf or cowhide leather
  • Waterproofing sprays
  • Hard or abrasive brushes
